I love small weddings. I love getting to meet and know everyone at the wedding and seeing couples who are so wrapped up with each other that they simply want a few of their favorite family and friends to celebrate the day with them.
Amanda and Stephen's wedding was just such a wedding.
I didn't get to meet them until the day of the wedding, but through some of our communication before the wedding I already had a feel of who they were. I already understood that their day was about them joining their lives together and celebrating that with everyone who was there -- and I mean everyone. There was no "staff" at their wedding to them, they wanted all of us to join in their day, from praying over the food, to eating it.
This was my first time shooting in Avila at Point San Luis Lighthouse and I loved the experience! It was the perfect setting for their wedding day.

This was truly such a beautiful day and I was so blessed to be a part of it. I am so happy for their life together and happy I got to be a part of documenting this day for their generations to come to look back on.
